Newsletter | 22nd October 2021

As we reach the end of the first half term, I would like to highlight just how well all of our students, from EYFS to Year 13, have engaged in their learning over the last eight weeks, bringing great vibrance, commitment and positive attitude into school each day. From academic achievements to sporting successes, from valuing democracy in our Student Principal/House Captain elections to celebrating cultural diversity at the Democracy Wall, from recycling to musical performances…our students continue to grow and thrive as young people and are a credit to themselves, their families and our school. I would like to thank our teachers and support staff who have worked tirelessly to support our young people over the last 8 weeks. Your ambition for our young people and your commitment to enabling them to realise their potential is central to how we achieve our vision as a school – thank you. This weekend, we will continue to celebrate our students and our place at the heart of the Becontree estate which marks its centenary year. Please join us on Saturday from 12pm for our FestivALL. There will be music, performances, exhibitions, food and much more! A great way to start the half-term holidays! Parents, carers and families we thank you for your continued support and we wish you and your children and great break – see you on Monday 1st November. Happy holidays! Read the full newsletter here
